James Hudson founded his tax business, in 1994, in West Covina, CA. James’ vision grew from humble beginnings as he worked out of a tiny office space, in which he called Speedy Tax Service. Even if he had to work through the wee hours of the night, no person was ever turned away. As his business grew, he moved to an office space, where his family helped him continue to grow a successful tax business. Over the years, he expanded and created an atmosphere of trust and everyone who walked through the doors became family. 

 

The business went through several name changes over the course of the years.  It changed from Speedy Tax Service to Express Tax when he opened a second office.  Express Tax has served his idea of what he envisioned his business to be: A place of efficient but fast service. Before he passed, he expressed the idea of going back to the word Speedy. All his clients had remained calling the office Speedy Tax anyway. So, the business went back to where it all started: The Original Speedy Tax Service.
